“My Husband joined the army at age 30 after 9/11 happened. He chose to go enlisted although he had a Bachelor’s degree already. He did 3 tours in Iraq back to back and then was stationed at Ft Bragg where I met him. We were married about a year later and we lost our first child, Rachel Elizabeth, at 26 weeks gestation; she is now buried with him at Arlington National Cemetery. We had our 2nd child, Jack in 2013. Scott always went above and beyond for his Soldiers and anyone that was lucky enough to meet him. He was an amazing Father and Husband. His loss is greatly felt. We miss him daily.”
